Birthday Fun

Yesterday was Tim's 24th Birthday. He had it all planned out. On Friday he told me that he wanted coffee cake for his birthday breakfast, salad with grilled chicken for lunch and steak for supper. I informed him steak was not an option so he settled on pork chops. Later that day Mom called and offered to take us out on his birthday to his choice of restaurants. He chose Joe's Crab Shack. So last night we headed out to Joe's. It was a real kick in the head. The food was awesome as usual and well my favorite part of the night was the contest. "What contest you ask?" Why, the hoola-hooping contest, of course. Mom snuck off under the pretense of changing James' panty to inform the server of the big day and a few minutes later Tim and some poor lady were hoola-hooping for free desert. Unfortunately Tim lost. He claims he never knew how to hoola-hoop, but do we really believe he never stole his sister's hoop to shake that tushie? I guess after the performance last night we should believe. Very proud of his mail buggy cake. He even helped decorate it.

Ah, the menu. Notice his snazzy new Birthday shirt.
His very cute Birthday Crab hat. (he refuses to keep his eyes open for most pictures, what's a girl to do?)
The Spectacle, complete with cheerleader.
(he does look like he was giving it his all)

Good Times. It was a real hoot seeing that tall drink of water with no curves trying to keep a hoop holaing.

There is no dessert in the world that good, my friend--no where. Was alcohol involved? (At this point, it would probably bode well for you to answer in the affirmative strangely enough! :-) adr

What a way to celebrate your 24th...but I gotta go with Aaron on this one...nothing in the world is worth wearing a crab hat for heavens sake..not unless there was money involved...and a lot of it! Hope it was happy

Oh wow, Tim, I see you in a whole new way now....lol. Remind me next time I talk to you to tell you about my "Joes crab shack" experience, it's kind of funny.
