A Joyful Mother of Children
1Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.
2Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.
3From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised.
4The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
5Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high,
6Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth
7He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
8That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
9He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD. Psalm 113
I have fallen in love with this Psalm. Recently a dear friend walked by me and said "you are a joyful mother of children". I knew that it was scripture but wasn't entirely familiar with the chapter, so I looked it up. I love it. It is so full of praise, just as our lives should be. When I look at my life and what the Lord has given me I almost overflow. This chapter is so full of God, its all about Him and how amazing He is. Praise! I wonder how many times the Bible uses that word?

What a wonderful friend!
I knew a person that went on and on about the Psalms. At the time this person did not impress me, but I too have grown to love them and the Proverbs.
Very nice! I love the way you can read parts of Scripture over and over and then one day a word or verse or chapter jumps out like it was never there before.
Wow, this is not one that I've noticed before...thank you for bringing it my attention Nett! I am ever blessed by this family of ours!!!!
Nice post. The Bible is a great book to read and study. It's full of promises and fulfilments.
Very cool, that is a great scripture! You do seem like a very joyful mother of children! Thanks for sharing this.
