This past Wed. we sold my little red Aveo to make way for a mini van. Here is a pictoral tribute to the life of my good and faithful servant. We had an awesome time together.
We bought it salvaged and fixed it up slowly over the next year.. This was after the body work before the paint.
So much more than a car.

Aw, it happens to the best of Mommys. We sold my little red Dodge Neon to buy a minivan last year. I love the van, but miss the little car with good gas mileage!
You did a good job , Lannete. I know that thing had guts. It came flying on to our yard a number of times. Glad some one else can be happy with it.

Aw, yes. The memories we had. It could make turn lanes where none were before, make a U-turn in two lanes of traffic when it missed the mall, zip into non-existent parking spaces that our big truck would just pass by with envy and haul more cargo than another 4-wheeled vehicle would ever try to attempt. Yes the cute little thing will be missed.
It is sad. That was a good little car. I keep seeing minivans on the road and try to picture you driving one....it isn't working yet.
My first car was a 65 chevy short so I called it. ahhh the memories.
farewell to the auto...so you are a mini-van mama now? There is no telling what kind of mischief you could get into with that...even with 2 car seats in the back! Drive safely...
